Risk and Compliance Manager (Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) – Risk & Compliance Specialist)

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise in the areas of Governance, Enterprise Risk Management, and Regulatory Compliance.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as BaFIN, MARisk, KRITIS, ITGC, and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), along with the German Data Protection Act.
  • A comprehensive understanding of IT control frameworks and general IT controls.
  • Experience in the overall risk management process, including participation in internal and external risk evaluations and the remediation process.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct risk, compliance, and audit initiatives.
  • Experience in overseeing large-scale information security projects.
  • Knowledge across various Information Security domains, including IT Regulatory Compliance, IS Governance, Risk Management, and IT Infrastructure Security.
  • Technical proficiency in Information Security and IT network/infrastructure components.
  • Willingness to learn and engage with new domains and technologies.
  • Openness to travel for both long-term and short-term assignments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
