Your Role:As a Human Factors Engineer (SE) (m/f/d) for our client Airbus Defence and Space, you will be stationed in Manching. Your focus will be on Human-Machine Interface design, which involves creating optimal interactions between users and their tasks by leveraging advanced technologies, effective User Interface principles, and robust design and validation methodologies, including prototyping techniques. Your contributions will also play a vital role in the safety demonstration and certification processes of system components. This role requires the integration of engineering expertise with user interface design knowledge throughout the lifecycle of products and services. Key competencies for this position include: System Engineering, Human-Machine Interaction, User Interface/Interaction, User Experience, and Software Ergonomics.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Engage in the pre-design, design, development, validation, and verification of intricate human-machine interfaces
  • Provide support for certification processes in accordance with civil and military standards
  • Utilize human factors engineering-specific tools and methodologies
  • Assume responsibility for work packages
  • Contribute to and execute human factors engineering-specific work packages
  • Analyze and define the interface between Human Factors Engineering and Avionics from various perspectives (HW, SW, Certification, etc.)
Your Profile:
  • Degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field
  • Proficiency in hardware and software engineering, including programming skills
  • Specialization in Human Factors Engineering
  • Familiarity with programming languages
  • Knowledge of Eurofighter systems is advantageous
  • Understanding of military operations is a plus
  • Fluent in Business English (both written and spoken)
  • Proficiency in additional languages is beneficial
