Project Control Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Control Specialist to join our team at Quipu GmbH in Frankfurt. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring and setting up internal controls for project timelines, processes, and the overall project delivery process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and set up internal controls for project timelines, processes, and the overall project delivery process.
  • Ensure project data quality and participate in project control board or related progress meetings.
  • Utilize Azure DevOps, OnePlan, and SharePoint tools to track project progress.
  • Prepare and support project performance reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Design reports based on available data, utilizing tools like Power BI / MS Fabric.
  • Track and report on progress toward achieving the Object and Key Results (OKRs).
  • Identify and eliminate inefficiencies and bottlenecks in Projects & Operations areas in alignment with stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular reviews and updates of project progress with project teams.
  • Analyze project performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work with department heads and teams to help define and set meaningful objectives and key results.
  • Provide training and support to employees on OKR principles and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in implementing and monitoring internal controls and KPIs.
  • Working knowledge of Azure DevOps and OnePlan.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suits and Power BI / MS Fabric for report design.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex project data.
  • ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) certification.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management or project control roles.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in informational technology, project management, business administration, or a related field, with CAPM/ PMP or Agile product owner certification, is a plus.
  • Fluency in English language (spoken and written).
  • Availability to travel.
