  • You will be responsible for developing and managing Baselines (scope, time, cost, risk, assumptions) and monitoring delivery performance, changes, and contingencies.
  • You will contribute to quantitative analyses (cost and time).
  • You will work alongside the PMO director and/or project manager to identify actions, recognize opportunities, and mitigate risks and issues.
  • You will coordinate activities to ensure compliance with Mace's control center, client requirements, and applicable legislation.
  • You will manage a team of PMO and project controls professionals to deliver on assigned projects.
  • You will provide comprehensive technical expertise to mentor and support the personal and career development of PMO and project controls team members.
  • You will integrate project controls with PMO and planning disciplines.
  • You will assist the HUB PMO and project controls director with resource allocation and recruitment for your assigned projects.
  • You will work collaboratively towards achieving net-zero carbon transition goals and share responsibility for identifying and managing associated carbon emissions and reductions during project delivery.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in leading PMO and project controls for complex construction projects.
  • Experience in establishing effective PMO and project controls services, audit, and assurance frameworks/strategies.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of risk management tools, techniques, and software (e.g., MS Office, Power BI, Aconex, Primavera P6, and RiskHive).
  • Ability to manage activities with significant uncertainty regarding solutions or outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of construction projects, dependencies, and interfaces within the project lifecycle and management consultancy.
  • Deep domain knowledge in providing PMO and project controls leadership across various sectors (e.g., rail, highways, nuclear, public sector, hospitals).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Ability to collaborate with and influence others.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex information and ideas to a non-technical audience.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in the successful delivery phase of projects and programs within the consultancy sector.
  • Deep expertise in property or infrastructure project management.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.

  • Experience in managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
  • Understanding of how carbon and sustainability considerations will influence the projects you work on.
