Production Coordinator

Manpower Luxembourg S.A. is seeking a highly skilled Production Assistant to join its team.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to assist with the management of translation production. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and scheduling translation projects, pre-processing documents, and tracking progress to ensure timely delivery.

• Assume responsibility for own translation projects, including planning, scheduling, and tracking progress.
• Prepare texts for translation, including analysis, checking, and pre- and post-processing.
• Prepare and follow up on large projects, dealing with in-house and external translators, and monitoring the entire workflow.
• Finalize translation projects by ensuring language versions are correctly formatted, complete, and error-free.
• Supervise the translation workflow, interacting with clients and translators.
• Negotiate deadlines with clients and consult on conflicting deadlines.
• Correct data input into the workflow management tool to ensure reliable statistics.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of procedures, particularly in the Production Management Unit.

• Secondary level education, complemented by a 2-year certification in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in a translation environment, with experience in workflow management an asset.
• Thorough knowledge of computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools, preferably the SDL Studio suite.
• Excellent formatting skills, proficient in Word, and good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good knowledge of standard office tools and enthusiasm to learn new IT tools.
• Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and good command of French, with knowledge of German an advantage.
