About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Construction Manager to join our team in Stuttgart. As a key member of our project management team, you'll be responsible for overseeing the construction of industrial projects, ensuring quality on the construction site, and coordinating with subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and within budget
  • Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines
  • Develop and implement construction procedures and work processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Monitor and control construction progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks
  • Ensure compliance with work safety regulations and industry standards
  • Organize daily coordination meetings and work schedules to ensure seamless project execution
  • Participate in site inspections and acceptance tests to ensure quality and compliance
  • Record and track defects, implementing corrective actions as needed

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Construction Engineering, Management, Architecture, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Construction Manager in investment projects or relevant professional experience in the discipline
  • Several years of professional experience in construction management or project management
  • Strong knowledge of construction law, VOB, rules, and technology
  • Proficient in MS-Office and CAD skills
  • Fluent German (both written and spoken) and English language on a communicative level
  • Ability to work in a team, demonstrate initiative and commitment, and exhibit a high degree of flexibility
