As a Control Systems Programmer, you will contribute to our Technology and Innovation Center, engaging in the design and development of unique product components, devices, and comprehensive machine systems. Your role will encompass the programming of control systems for your development initiatives, spanning from initial concept to commissioning, optimization, and troubleshooting.

Your Responsibilities

  • Autonomous development of control system programs for self-engineered machines and systems within the EBZ Group, as well as for innovative products across various sectors such as body shell construction systems, battery assembly technology, and automated transport systems.
  • Creation of software strategies for new projects, including robotic systems and conveyor technology, while selecting appropriate control systems, drive technology, and measurement and control technology.
  • Planning and conducting the commissioning of test setups, including error detection and resolution.
  • Integration and optimization of utilized components (e.g., sensors, actuators, and other drive technologies) in collaboration with colleagues from the mechanical engineering department.
  • Process visualization and design of user interfaces, for instance, using WinCC flexible.

Your Profile

  • Further training as a technician or a completed degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation technology, computer science, or relevant professional experience.
  • Fundamental knowledge in control system programming, preferably with Siemens S7 and/or the TIA Portal and/or Beckhoff.
  • Genuine interest in hands-on and experimental work.

Skills You Can Bring But Not Required

  • Completed vocational training as an electronics technician, mechatronics technician, industrial mechanic, or in a related field.
  • Basic understanding of bus systems such as ProfiNet and ProfiBus.
  • Initial experience in visualization using WinCC flexible.
