We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer / Mechatronics Specialist to join our Technology and Innovation Center at EBZ Gruppe. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for the creation of individual product components, devices, and entire machine systems.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement SPS programs for self-developed machines and systems within the EBZ Group, as well as for product innovations in various areas such as body shell construction systems, battery assembly technology, driverless transport systems, etc.
  • Design and implement software concepts for new developments, including the selection of SPS, drive technology, measurement, and control technology for applications such as robot systems or conveyor technology.
  • Plan and execute the commissioning of test setups, including error analysis and resolution.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from the mechanical department to integrate and fine-tune components used (e.g., sensors, actuators, other drive technology).
  • Design and implement process visualization and user interfaces using tools such as WinCC flexible.

Your Ideal Profile

  • Completed university degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation technology, computer science, or relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in SPS programming, ideally with Siemens S7 and/or the TIA Portal and/or Beckhoff.
  • Interest in practical and experimental work.

Desirable Skills

  • Completed vocational training as an electronics technician, mechatronics technician, industrial mechanic, or in a similar apprenticeship.
  • Basic knowledge in handling bus systems such as ProfiNet, ProfiBus.
  • Initial experience in visualization with WinCC flexible.
