Fleet Operations Manager

Job Title: Fleet Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire fleet management process, ensuring seamless operations and optimal vehicle utilization.
  • Lead a team of drivers and support staff, providing guidance and mentorship to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Maintain a high level of vehicle maintenance, adhering to strict deadlines and schedules.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the dispatch department and external service providers, fostering strong relationships and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Ensure all vehicles are properly prepared for operation, meeting the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve department processes, identifying areas for growth and implementing effective solutions to support staff development.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in fleet or workshop management within the logistics or transportation industry.
  • Familiarity with freight transport regulations is highly desirable.
  • Previous leadership experience is a significant advantage.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
