Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechatronic Engineer to join our team at Autoliv. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechatronic systems for our series projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechatronic systems for series projects, ensuring seamless integration of mechatronic, electrical, and software components.
  • Collaborate with cross-site and cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Analyze stakeholders' requirements and support mechatronic systems and sub-system requirements.
  • Cooperate with suppliers, including on-site support for sampling, manufacturability, and problem analysis.
  • Analyze problems and identify root causes during the development process, considering function, appearance, feasibility, and manufacturability.
  • Prepare DV test and simulations plans for mechatronic components.
  • Support the approval of processes for electrical components, such as PPAP in coordination with project teams.
  • Propose and drive improvement plans for mechatronic engineering processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering or a comparable qualification in a related field.
  • Proven experience in designing and developing mechatronic systems in a project environment, with a clear understanding of quality management systems.
  • Proven knowledge of mechanical engineering principles.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a team-oriented approach.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and result-oriented thinking.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with high engagement.
  • Business fluent written and spoken English skills, as well as German skills.
