About the Role

As a leading international food wholesaler, METRO GROUP is seeking a highly skilled SAP Finance Process Stream Architect to join our team. This role will focus on implementing SAP finance solutions to optimize financial processes within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Process Vision: Develop and maintain a comprehensive vision for financial processes, ensuring alignment with the organization's financial objectives.
  • Roadmap Management: Design and maintain the overall roadmap for SAP Finance and Indirect Procurement processes, planning and prioritizing work to meet strategic goals.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously assess and optimize financial processes within the SAP environment to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Quality Standards: Define and uphold the quality standards for financial processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage expectations of all stakeholders, including finance teams, IT staff, and executive management, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain comprehensive documentation of financial processes and ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field, combined with solid knowledge in Financial Accounting and Indirect Procurement.
  • SAP Expertise: Extensive experience with SAP finance modules, particularly SAP FI, SAP MM, and ARIBA. Familiarity with SAP Fiori and SAP Business Technology Platform is advantageous.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively manage complex financial processes, systems, and issues.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to lead projects, manage timelines, and coordinate with various stakeholders.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various levels of the organization and external partners.
  • Certifications: Finance-related SAP Certifications are advantageous.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the retail industry is preferred to tailor SAP solutions effectively.
  • Leadership: Experience in leading development teams or managing cross-functional projects is highly beneficial.
  • Languages: Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
