Finance & Risk Management Team Leader

Join Ampega Asset Management GmbH as a pivotal leader in the Finance and Risk Management division. In this strategic role, you will oversee investment management across various markets, including money, capital, and real estate, contributing to the growth of a dynamic organization within the HDI Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the "Finance and Risk Management" team comprising 13 professionals
  • Oversee financial governance, including profit and loss management, budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting, and variance analysis, while implementing corrective measures as necessary
  • Manage enterprise risk frameworks, focusing on operational risks, internal controls, business continuity strategies, and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Administer general corporate services such as travel arrangements, procurement processes, and document management
  • Innovate and enhance methodologies, processes, and IT systems to support financial operations

Candidate Profile:

  • Academic background in economics or natural sciences
  • Extensive experience in risk management or financial oversight within asset management, financial services, banking, insurance, or consulting/audit sectors
  • Proven leadership capabilities are advantageous
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks is essential
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking abilities
  • Ability to think and act across various functions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a talent for fostering a motivating work environment and effective communication
  • Proficiency in both English and German is required
