As a rapidly growing industry frontrunner, Lumino is preparing to enter the German market.
The Role
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will play a crucial role as a senior executive responsible for steering the strategic direction, operational management, and financial performance of the organization. This position ensures the provision of high-quality healthcare services, adherence to regulatory standards, and attainment of financial and growth objectives. The CEO will act as a business leader, leading market entry initiatives and engaging with key global stakeholders to facilitate the launch and expansion of Lumino's operations in Germany.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Formulating the Go to Market Strategy for the German Market
- Implementing the launch of services
- Overseeing clinicians and clinical leads in relevant fields
- Creating and executing strategic plans to drive growth and sustainability
- Identifying new business opportunities and expanding service offerings
- Aligning strategic objectives with industry trends and market demands
- Collaborating across departments including regulatory affairs, product development, partnerships, and commercial teams to optimize patient outcome strategies integrated within clinical development programs, supporting patient access, pricing, and reimbursement
- Working with global teams in established markets to provide resources and tools to support the German market
- Contributing to technology platform development and engaging in commercial discussions with the partnerships team to build relationships with key opinion leaders
- Reviewing and approving external-facing materials (website content, press releases, etc.)
- Maintaining in-depth knowledge of the medical cannabis landscape within Germany and globally for commercial and regulatory purposes
- Providing leadership as appropriate for the safe and effective service delivery
- Participating in marketing and PR activities under the approval of the line manager
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in relevant industries and environments, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role, demonstrating leadership in medical team management
- Previous experience in healthcare, B2B, D2C, or related industries and business models, with exposure across digital marketing, tech/product, retention strategies, data & fulfillment
- Insights into German Medical Cannabis regulation are a plus
- A proven track record of driving significant revenue growth and a deep understanding of the requirements of a hyper-growth business is essential
- Highly analytical and commercial mindset with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with experience as a public speaker/presenter
- 10+ years of professional experience, with demonstrated leadership in medical team management
