**Position Overview**
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven **Product Marketing Engineer** (f/m/d) to enhance our Automotive Digital Product Marketing Team in Düsseldorf. This role is pivotal in propelling the growth of our next-generation Automotive MCU Products. We welcome candidates with a minimum of 4-5 years of experience, extending to senior staff levels.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Support for Renesas Automotive Microcontrollers
- Gather, define, and meticulously track global customer requirements
- Coordinate projects with significant automotive clients
- Collaborate with internal technical marketing and design teams to outline and monitor the roadmap for Renesas microcontroller products
- Engage with internal support teams for Renesas products
- Partner with internal sales teams to facilitate customer promotion strategies and their execution
- Ensure effective communication and coordination with Renesas Japan
- Report performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management
- Develop and implement market introduction plans globally, focusing on key customers and market segments
- Guarantee the availability of comprehensive product packages (documentation, starter kits, promotional materials, software) for market launch, including training for the sales team on assigned products
- Create public marketing materials such as whitepapers, press releases, and webinars
**Qualifications:**
- 5-10 years of experience in relevant product marketing within the semiconductor industry
- Familiarity with the automotive market and a solid understanding of Carmakers and Tier 1 requirements
- Extensive knowledge of embedded Microcontrollers and their ecosystems
- Proven experience in product definition and requirement management
- Strong grasp of relevant marketing concepts, including Go-To-Market strategies and customer expectations
- Excellent communication skills, with a team-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a multicultural and agile environment
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken); German language skills are preferable
- Experience with software IT infrastructure and standard PC tools (MS-Office)
- Ideally, experience in:
- Automotive system design, E/E architecture, and Artificial Intelligence
- Customer negotiations
- Managing complex technical RfQs in collaboration with key customers
- MCU architecture and Networking
- Functional Safety and Security
- Embedded Software
