Your Future Role
More than 35,000 locomotives have been manufactured at our facility, which plays a pivotal role in both new construction and servicing the renowned Traxx locomotive platform. Our product line, Rolling Stock & Components, provides an extensive range of offerings within the rail sector. We are particularly focused on innovative, environmentally friendly solutions, including emission-free propulsion technologies such as batteries and hydrogen systems. In this role, you will report directly to the Site Supply Chain Director and collaborate with a passionate and skilled team.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulating and executing Supply Chain strategies that align with project specifications.
- Ensuring that Supply Chain operations are synchronized with project schedules.
- Working in partnership with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
- Identifying potential risks within the Supply Chain framework and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Effectively managing relationships with suppliers and customers.
Qualifications
We prioritize enthusiasm and a positive attitude over extensive experience. While we do not expect you to possess every skill, the following qualifications will enhance your success in this position:
- A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Experience or familiarity with Supply Chain processes in a manufacturing context.
- Proficiency in both German and English languages.
- Understanding of supplier and customer relationship management.
- Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, project-oriented environment.
