Senior Key Account Manager Lab Automation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Key Account Manager to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a Senior Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for representing our Lab Automation business in all customer interactions and building strong, collaborative customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Represent the Lab Automation business in all customer interactions and build strong, collaborative customer relationships.
- Implement our sales process from the identification of potential customers to the conclusion of the customer contract.
- Maintain partnership relationships between customers and our lab automation team to ensure a smooth process and a positive customer experience.
- Actively identify new prospects and customers, in addition to growing business with existing customers.
- Work closely with sales management to develop service and support-related territory plans with opportunity maps, target and key customers, sales strategies, tactics, and resource requirements.
- Provide monthly sales reports and forecasts.
- Integrate consultation, including analysis of application-based workflows and throughputs, design of system configurations, selection of instrument sets, and development of offerings and management of customer expectations.
- Develop and deliver high-quality technical specifications and presentations for customized solutions.
- Demonstrate our Momentum planning and workflow software in relation to customer specifications.
- Degree in natural sciences with a technical focus and relevant professional experience or comparable qualification.
- Proven track record in selling laboratory automation, large capital goods, or related products.
- Experience in sales in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience working with a CRM system (Salesforce experience is an advantage).
- Strong customer relationship building skills as well as persistent, creative and productive sales approach.
- High degree of flexibility.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel (30-70%) for customer visits and participation in trade fairs and customer-oriented events.
- Car driver's license required.
- Fluent in English.
- Open and constructive communication style (oral and written), including the ability to present in front of a wide audience.
