We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Finance and Accounting department at Evangelisches Krankenhaus Duisburg-Nord.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial accounting processes, preparing financial statements, and acting as a liaison for external audits. Additionally, they will manage a team of 20 employees and lead the department in achieving its financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the financial accounting processes and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Prepare financial statements and reports for management and external stakeholders
  • Act as a liaison for external audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Manage a team of 20 employees and provide guidance and support to ensure the department's success
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve the department's goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in accounting or a related field
  • Extensive experience in finance and leadership roles
  • Strong background in process optimization and digitalization projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
