We are seeking a highly skilled ICT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at CBRE GWS IFM Industrie GmbH. As a key member of our data centre operations team, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive ICT data centre related hardware & cabling tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Deploy and support data centre infrastructures
- Maintain and react to established monitoring, and ticketing systems
- Support the team in isolating and resolving ICT Service issues
- Work collaboratively with other in-house technicians and customers as required
- Assist CBRE & customers with ICT projects to better support and manage the data centre
- Assist with data centre infrastructure growth projects and external teams for the installation of new data centre equipment
- Maintain data hall security within the data centre environment
- Comply with Health and Safety within the data centre environment/complex
- Escort/supervise third-party vendors within the data centre
- Good mental and physical experience completing rack & stack of various IT hardware
- Raise, manage & close service tickets
- Installation & decommissioning of redundant equipment and cabling
- Work with copper and fibre networks including cable types & testing
- Create, maintain and update ICT documentation as required
- Comply with risk management in the data centre environment
- Complete asset management/ICT audit tasks when required
- Comply with information security standards (Infosec)
- Assist with other works that are DC related when required
- Ensure that all work areas and general DC are clean and tidy when & where possible
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced ICT Infrastructure Specialist who has a good understanding of ICT hardware equipment installation, fibre and copper data cabling, and the installation of them. You should have excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal) and be self-motivated, approachable, adaptable and customer-oriented.
