About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team at Schneider Electric GmbH. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing and supply chain development initiatives that drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to identify and engage with key suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.
  • Supply Chain Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement supply chain strategies that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Procurement Process Improvement: Analyze and optimize procurement processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Supplier Performance Management: Monitor and manage supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and quality standards.
  • Category Management: Develop and implement category management strategies to drive cost savings, improve quality, and enhance supplier relationships.
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze complex business problems and develop effective solutions.
