Procurement Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Procurement Manager to join our team at Schneider Electric GmbH. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process for Home and Distribution, ensuring that we source high-quality electronic components and materials while maintaining a competitive edge in the market.

• Select and manage suppliers aligned with our global commodity and supplier strategy
• Utilize purchasing principles to select suppliers, considering Total Cost of Ownership, innovation, standardization, and supply chain flexibility
• Analyze and contribute to project targets for the Offer Creation Process and Brand Labeling Management Process
• Work closely with the product development project team and other members within the Offer Creation Process and/or Brand Labeling Management Process
• Monitor supplier performance and negotiate purchasing terms and conditions
• Drive co-development and early supplier involvement in projects, integrating supplier market knowledge and innovation
• Manage and develop existing suppliers based on various criteria across multiple global R&D centers

• Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., electronics, supply chain management)
• Extensive experience in project purchasing within a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated leadership in supplier development and management
• Expertise in electronic components and EMS management
• Proven strategic thinking and sourcing strategy building skills
• Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
• Fluency in English, German a plus
