English Language Specialist in Early Childhood Education

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic

Bilingual Early Childhood Educator (m/f/d)

to join our team at Fröbel Bildung und Erziehung gGmbH, working with children aged 0-6 years in a part-time capacity of 25 hours per week.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to creatively influence the daily lives of children. We encourage flexibility and collaboration across different areas of our institution, including both kindergarten and nursery settings. Your personal interests in music, drama, or other creative disciplines can be integrated into our pedagogical practices, enhancing our focus on bilingual education. Our spacious facilities, including large open areas and a dedicated garden, offer children ample opportunities for exploration and discovery. We are also in the process of evolving into a 'workshop' daycare center, promoting creativity and curiosity among our young learners.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating all aspects of early childhood education and care in English,
  • Overseeing (or assisting with) the integration process for new children,
  • Collaborating with the team to plan, execute, and document educational activities and daily routines,
  • Conducting (or supporting) structured observations and documentation of children's growth and learning experiences,
  • Fostering effective partnerships with parents.

Are You the Right Fit?

  • Are you currently learning German? A minimum of B1 level proficiency is required for this position.
  • Do you hold a qualification as a state-certified educator or a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field? Are you eager to enhance your professional skills?

  • Do you believe in providing children with early exposure to foreign languages and allowing them to shape their own learning journeys?
