We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our Chip Development projects in the E-Mobility sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for initiating, planning, steering, controlling, and closing projects related to high-voltage Si and SiC power semiconductors for automotive E-Mobility.
Key Responsibilities- Project Initiation and Planning: Set up project teams, plan resources, timelines, work packages, and budgets, and ensure effective project documentation.
- Project Execution: Conduct project activities for external chip customers across various sites, including Munich, Dresden, Villach, and Malaysia.
- Technical Guidance: Lead project teams from a technical perspective and provide guidance on project-related technical matters.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks efficiently, using FMEA methods.
- Experimentation and Analysis: Plan experiments, analyze outcomes, and assess test chips and prototypes.
- Interface Management: Act as an interface to internal customers, including Application Engineering, R&D, Marketing, and production sites.
- Education: A degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field, preferably with a PhD.
- Industry Experience: First relevant working experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Project Management Skills: Proven project management knowledge, including project initiation, planning, and closing, with reporting and documentation.
- Complex Situation Management: Ability to understand and structure complex project situations and present them to senior management level.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong technical understanding of power electronic device physics, chip development, and semiconductor processing.
- Language Skills: Excellent English skills to interact successfully with cross-functional teams globally, with German as a plus.
