About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Administration Specialist to join our team at ZEISS Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and optimize local logistics processes and services to ensure efficient and reliable delivery of materials and parts.
- Develop and implement logistics solutions that meet customer requirements and comply with local and regional trade regulations.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and parts, and negotiate special measures as needed.
- Manage inventory levels and define storage locations, material types, and quantities to meet customer needs.
- Analyze supply chain bottlenecks and implement measures to eliminate them.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Procurement, Administration, and SSC service and logistics, to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Participate in best practice exchange and knowledge sharing within the ZEISS logistics community.
About You
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in supply chain and logistics. The ideal candidate will have:
Studies in Economy, Engineering, or a related field, with a focus on supply chain and logistics.At least 5 years of experience in supply chain, service logistics, or back office roles.Experience as an export officer or export manager.Basic knowledge of trade compliance matters and SAP SD and MM modules.Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work in an international environment.Fluency in English and strong analytical skills.What We Offer
