About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst - India to join our Editorial Content team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting research, creating online statistical content, and managing our content database.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct desktop research on the India region, focusing on the finance and hospitality sectors, and create online statistical content.
  • Build relationships with data partners and identify valid data sources in the region and industries.
  • Develop research topics for database development in collaboration with the team lead and fellow editors.
  • Manage SEO-optimized web content via Statista's Content Management System (CMS), ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Edit, publish, and contextualize statistical information in English, adhering to Statista's editorial style and documentation.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant field.
  • Exceptional written and spoken English skills, with editorial experience in English a plus.
  • Knowledge of one or more Indian languages.
  • General knowledge of finance and hospitality-related topics.
  • Ability to communicate complex data in a concise and understandable manner.
