About the PositionThe Operational Risk Manager will play a critical role in implementing and maintaining Nickel's risk management and control system. This position will be based in Berlin and will work closely with the OPC Central team to identify, evaluate, and manage operational risks.
Main Responsibilities- Operational Risk Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage operational risks to ensure the integrity and stability of Nickel's operations.
- Risk Mapping and Control Plan: Develop and maintain the Risk Mapping (RCSA) and Control Plan (LCP) to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
- Incident Management: Collect, analyze, and manage historical and external incidents to identify areas for improvement.
- Procedure Management: Ensure that procedures are correctly stored, updated, and implemented in accordance with Group requirements.
- Control Execution: Execute and coordinate control plans, enter results in the dedicated tool, and follow up on remediation action plans.
- Reporting and Alerts: Provide regular reports and alerts to management and control functions on operational risk incidents.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 3 years of experience in banking or payment industry with a background in audit or control functions.
- German and English language skills are mandatory, with French being a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and manage operational risks.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of applicable regulatory frameworks and risk management principles.
