Your Responsibilities
- Perform a comprehensive risk assessment of customers and counterparties of the Uniper group.
- Analyze counterparties' creditworthiness using internal and external credit scoring models.
- Develop and maintain rating models and methodology for the Uniper portfolio.
- Support the implementation of optimization of rating methodology and internal rating policy.
- Analyze financial statements and perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of corporates and financial institutions.
- Perform regular and ad-hoc credit analysis and rating updates.
- Stay up-to-date with market developments and assess their impact on the credit quality of counterparties.
- Prepare rating documentation and presentations to internal stakeholders and management.
- Maintain high operational standards and drive process optimization and system enhancement projects.
- Maintain active business relationships with rating agencies and data providers and support the Uniper procurement team in license renewal processes.
- Provide advice and training to new starters and junior analysts.
Your Profile
- Education in business administration, economics, banking, or a similar background.
- Good knowledge of rating methodology best practices, risk models, and credit scorecards.
- Several years of experience in performing credit rating and in the analysis of financial statements, ideally in an energy trading firm or bank, as a credit risk analyst.
- Good knowledge of international accounting standards.
- A structured, well-organized, and disciplined approach to work.
- Good computer-based skills, proficient in Excel or similar analytical tools.
- Candidates with strong analytic skills are preferred.
- Business fluent in English is a pre-requisite, German language skills are a plus.
