About the Role

Carnival Corporation and plc is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to our business units, ensuring the effective management of our workforce, and driving business growth through talent acquisition and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a point of contact for employee queries on all HR-related issues, providing guidance and support throughout the employee life cycle.
  • Support management in making informed HR-related decisions, executing decisions, and setting up future HR initiatives.
  • Partner with Finance and Controlling to prepare annual, quarterly, and monthly reports and statistics, developing specific KPIs for internal use.
  • Manage payroll, including pre- and post-payroll activities, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Lead HR projects with a local and global approach, driving business outcomes and improving HR processes.
  • Manage the recruitment process for vacant positions, evaluating applicants based on professional and personal competency, coordinating interviews, and providing hiring managers with competency-based recommendations.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and contribute to the development of staff, promoting employee motivation and employer attractiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Law, or Psychology with a focus on Human Resources.
  • Several years of professional experience as a HR Generalist in an international company, with advanced knowledge of payroll handling.
  • Strong service-oriented mindset, hands-on attitude, and ability to work in a multi-cultural matrix-oriented company.
  • Capable of working in a multitasking approach, prioritizing operational and strategic projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and German.
