Job Title: Process Owner for Procurement and Payment
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Process Owner for Procurement and Payment to join our team at Deutsche Bahn Connect GmbH. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing all procurement and payment processes from demand definition to payment settlement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define strategic procurement and payment process scope in collaboration with stakeholders and implement it
- Analyze, optimize, and document existing procurement and payment processes
- Manage operational KPI setup, reporting, and strategic recommendations
- Lead strategic and operational procurement and payment steering committees
- Conduct financial analysis and develop cost accounting for Business Lines
- Optimize system support in procurement and payment processes and support system migration in procurement and sub-ledger processes
Requirements:
- Relevant degree in Business Administration, Business Engineering, Business Informatics, or related fields
- Strong analytical skills with experience in process automation, optimization, and documentation, preferably in procurement and payment
- Experience in managing creditor transactions and procurement processes
- Deep financial knowledge with consulting experience at executive levels
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and ideally familiar with SAP R3/S4 HANA
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills
