Job Title: Project Director System Innovation

Join Infineon Technologies, a leading semiconductor company, as a Project Director System Innovation in our Development Center Dresden. We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our embedded software development projects, focusing on power conversion solutions and controllers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage complex embedded software development projects with significant complexity, risk, and impact.
  • Lead a diverse project team with members from multiple functions across Infineon, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
  • Develop and implement system architecture for power conversion solutions, algorithms, and software stack.
  • Manage team members to translate power conversion application requirements into requirements for subsystem components.
  • Structure projects and ensure compliance with industry standards and certifications.
  • Lead others to solve complex problems, using sophisticated analytical thought and innovative solutions.
  • Anticipate and proactively manage change, ensuring buy-in and dealing with ambiguity.
  • Empower project managers of sub-projects to deliver on project objectives, considering cross-cultural location topics.
  • Establish a communication framework and ensure timely information sharing across the project organization.
  • Grow trusted relationships and networks with internal and external stakeholders, actively managing their interests.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Formal project management certification (IPMA Level C).
  • At least 8 years of practical experience in managing embedded software development projects, combining processors, power, and signal processing.
  • Strong experience in software development flow and comprehensive overview of ModusToolbox.
  • Hands-on project management skills in the SW area for power conversion applications and controllers.
  • Strong familiarity with leading industry professional software development, coding standards, quality levels, and certifications.
  • Knowledge of switch mode power supplies and system level circuit modeling with EDA tools is a plus.
  • Great intercultural competencies and excellent communication and team working skills.
  • Excellent and structured presentation and documentation skills.
  • Proven leadership skills and flexibility to deal with changes during the project.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
