For our client in the aerospace industry, we are seeking a motivated candidate for the position of Category Buyer Facility Management Services in Taufkirchen, Germany. The role involves implementing and improving the procurement strategy for a specific service category across General Procurement scope.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate and establish trans-divisional frame contracts (Master Service Agreements/Work Package Agreements) in accordance with the respective categories and strategies.
  • Contribute to sourcing activities, manage tendering, and contract negotiation to achieve the best purchasing conditions in accordance with company requirements.
  • Drive contract management and monitor contracts with suppliers and company stakeholders to ensure suppliers deliver expected performance in all dimensions.
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with suppliers and internal customers to optimize customer value while minimizing total cost of ownership and risks.
  • Participate in a multidisciplinary team throughout the tendering, contracting, and contract life cycle phases.

Requirements:

  • Good communication skills to various audiences, including top management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication in English and facilitation skills.
  • High level of integrity.
  • Analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to travel (limited travel within Europe).

Qualifications:

  • Industrial Engineer, Business Administration, or Facility Management background with a Master's degree.
  • Commercial/Facility Management experience with 2-5 years of related experience.
  • Procurement experience with 2 years.

IT Skills:

  • MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills with detailed knowledge.
  • SAP knowledge is a plus.

Language Skills:

  • German and English with a minimum of business fluency.
