CIO Office Internship: Project Coordination

Position Overview:

As an intern in the CIO Office at Mercedes-Benz, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our digital transformation initiatives. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage with the IT leadership team and contribute to strategic project management efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of OKR tracking across the IT division.
  • Support the organization and follow-up of IT Executive Committee meetings.
  • Contribute to the planning and coordination of change projects, including change management strategies.
  • Collaborate on internal and external communication efforts for the CIO Office.
  • Create and manage content for various communication channels related to the CIO Office.
  • Assist in the execution of both digital and physical events.
  • Oversee the dissemination of information across all communication platforms.
  • Prepare presentations and documentation for top management meetings and workshops.
  • Organize events and workshops to facilitate collaboration.
  • Engage in cross-functional teamwork with various departments and external partners.
  • Support daily operations within the CIO Office.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in communications, media studies, business administration, economics, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken German and English; copywriting skills are advantageous.
  • Familiarity with MS Office; basic knowledge of Adobe Cloud Suite and video editing software is a plus.
  • Strong commitment and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Creative and conceptual thinking abilities.
  • High motivation, flexibility, and intercultural understanding.
  • Organizational skills and a valid driving license (class B) are desirable.
