Job Summary

CONNECT44 is seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for coordinating and organizing fibre & mobile network projects.

Main Responsibilities

  • Procure and negotiate ad hoc and regular material purchasing on national and international levels.
  • Source and negotiate service suppliers on national and international levels.
  • Negotiate framework, rental, leasing, and usage agreements.
  • Support the preparation and response to Request for Quotations (RFQs).
  • Manage partner relationships and track deadlines.
  • Evaluate and audit partners.
  • Define Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with partners.
  • Track and document material and service deliveries.
  • Verify incoming invoices and credit card statements.
  • Implement processes and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Order materials and subcontractors for projects and collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams.
  • Identify suitable suppliers locally and regionally in collaboration with project managers and site managers.
  • Compile material and service reports.
  • Support ordering and invoicing processes using internal and external tools.
  • Assist in budget monitoring and cost control.
  • Organize training sessions and materials for project staff.
  • Collaborate with various departments and teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements

  • You have a commercial background and technical understanding is one of your core competencies.
  • Or as a career changer, you have analytical and technical skills and the will to quickly find your way around new commercial tasks.
  • Completed education in business administration is preferred.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Experience in supporting projects or in a coordinating role is advantageous.
  • Good knowledge of project management methods and tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP, MS Office, and project management software.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Team-oriented working style and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Willingness to develop technical understanding of the mobile communications sector.
  • Independent working style and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluent English and nearly mother tongue German language skills.
