About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Field Application Scientist to join our team at Inventia Life Science. As a key member of our Sales team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our customers and driving sales success.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Expertise: Maintain in-depth knowledge of our product portfolio, including features, benefits, and applications. Stay informed on industry trends and competitive products.
- Sales Support: Collaborate with the Sales team and Distributors to identify customer needs and provide technical expertise that enhances our sales propositions. Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations.
- Solution Development: Work closely with customers to understand their technical needs and challenges. Develop and propose approaches that leverage our product capabilities to meet their specific needs.
- Training and Education: Train and educate customers on product technical aspects and application fit. Organise and conduct product demonstrations and on-boarding for our customers and Distributor partners.
- Customer Interaction: Engage directly with customers during the sales process, offering technical guidance and support. Participate in tradeshows, workshops, and seminars to showcase our products.
- Customer Onboarding and Training: Lead the onboarding process for new customers, ensuring a smooth transition and integration of our platform into their workflows. Conduct training sessions, both remotely and in-person, to educate customers on the effective use of the platform.
- Feedback and Innovation: Gather customer feedback on product performance and features.
Requirements
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology or related field. A Master's degree or higher is preferred.
- Technical Background: Strong technical background with a comprehensive understanding of cell assays and applications. Extensive cell culture experience required, 3D cell culture experience preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information in an understandable manner.
- Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when required.
- Travel: Willingness to travel to meet customers, attend conferences, and support sales efforts.
