Senior Accountant Position

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement financial reporting processes for JENOPTIK Group companies, adhering to IFRS and HGB standards.
  • Lead projects to optimize accounting processes and integrate newly acquired companies, ensuring seamless financial integration.
  • Act as a liaison between departments and group companies on accounting matters, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Perform Key User functions for SAP ERP system, ensuring efficient financial data management.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, including auditors and tax authorities, to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Coordinate with asset, account receivable, and account payable accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business with a relevant focus or completed commercial apprenticeship.
  • Several years of experience as a tax advisor or accountant, with a strong background in financial management.
  • Expert knowledge of business administration and accounting principles, including IFRS, HGB, and SAP.
  • Familiarity with MS Office and excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong social skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-oriented mindset and willingness to travel within Germany, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Fluent in German and good English skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with international stakeholders.
