About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced International Category Buyer to join our team at REWE Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for negotiating with international FMCG suppliers, developing and implementing procurement strategies, and ensuring alignment between our partners and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiation and Procurement: Develop and execute negotiation strategies with international FMCG suppliers, ensuring optimal pricing and terms.
  • Category Development: Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for category growth and development.
  • Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless supply chain operations, including logistics, inventory management, and quality control.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports and analysis to senior management on procurement performance, market trends, and category development.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including category managers, supply chain managers, and senior leadership.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in International Business, Purchasing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in international procurement, category management, or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent negotiation and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience with procurement software.
  • Language: Fluent in English, with proficiency in French and/or German a plus.
