Job Title: IT Site Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Site Manager to join our team at SAVENCIA Fromage & Dairy Deutschland GmbH in Gronau (Westphalia). As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain our server, client, and network environments, including on-premise and cloud-based business applications.
  • Provide technical support and advice to specialist departments on all IT-related issues.
  • Support the introduction and operation of Industry 4.0 environments.
  • Collaborate and manage sub-projects in IT projects.
  • Work with German, global, and external technical teams.
  • Operate and support telephony and fax systems, as well as conference room equipment.
  • Coordinate with external IT service providers.
  • Act as a local contact person for project and service requests, and manage escalations.
  • Purchase hardware and software, including selecting providers.
  • Manage assets, licenses, and contracts.
  • Monitor and optimize local security settings.
Requirements:
  • Completed vocational training in the IT sector, or a degree with an IT focus.
  • Several years of professional experience in client and system administration, including Windows operating systems, Microsoft client/server environments, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, and virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Sound knowledge and experience in the production environment.
  • Experience in implementing IT projects.
  • Business fluent in written and spoken German; English (at least language level B2/C1 CEFR).
  • Independent, structured, solution-oriented way of working, paired with a high sense of responsibility.
  • Absolute team player with a strong service orientation.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Will to make occasional business trips (max. 10%).
