Heimerle + Meule Group is seeking a talented and driven Data Engineer to join our dynamic IT department. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping our data management and analysis strategies.
As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and enhancing our Data Warehouse/Data Lake and Business Intelligence (BI) solution. You will work closely with IT teams to ensure the smooth operation of ETL processes, reports, and data quality.
Your Responsibilities- Develop and maintain robust data models for our Data Warehouse/Data Lake and BI platform.
- Optimize existing data structures and implement new database models to meet evolving business needs.
- Design, test, and support ETL processes to ensure accurate and timely data integration.
- Create SQL scripts and automation processes to streamline data management tasks.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data quality, process stability, and adherence to best practices.
- Manage releases and changes, conduct functional testing, and document processes for transparency and maintainability.
- Serve as a key point of contact for internal users and external software partners regarding data-related inquiries and support.
- Possess a strong educational background in IT or Computer Science, with relevant training or a degree.
- Demonstrate proven experience in BI/Data Warehouse projects, ETL tools, and SQL.
- Exhibit a deep understanding of database modeling and development principles.
- Show enthusiasm for digitalization and a willingness to work in an agile environment.
- Possess excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Maintain an independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
