Our Team

The Production Technology IT department is responsible for evaluating and developing software solutions for digitization and the integration of processes and production equipment. Our team works with modern development methods and a state-of-the-art technology stack.

Your Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Defining and developing software solutions for the automated connection of innovative production equipment to our enterprise systems.
  • Agile software development, maintenance, and networking of digital systems for automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Selecting, evaluating, and coordinating software services in the area of digitization, software projects, and metrology.
  • Cross-departmental and cross-location content coordination and collaboration on software-related digitization system architecture issues.

Your Profile

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Successfully completed university studies in computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field.
  • Broad positioning with good knowledge of interface technologies and OO software programming (C#, Java).
  • Experience in the introduction and integration of system solutions in the context of digitalization in the production environment.
  • Willingness to drive new topics forward in a dynamic environment.
  • Pleasure in working in a team and high motivation to drive creative and innovative solutions.
  • Very good knowledge of English and German (B1).
