Senior Research Scientist

Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and manage work packages for assigned projects to meet deadlines under the supervision of a Team Leader.
- Develop and maintain scientific knowledge relevant to assigned projects.
- Design, execute, and analyze assays to achieve project goals.
- Establish and validate new techniques to improve project outcomes.
- Conduct critical and professional data analysis and interpretation to inform project decisions.
- Supervise and train junior staff scientists, technicians, and student assistants to ensure knowledge transfer and skill development.
- Document project progress and results in accordance with QIMA's quality management guidelines.
- Perform statistical analysis and present data using appropriate software.
- Prepare high-quality reports and manuscripts to communicate project findings.
- Provide regular project updates to Team Leaders and Principal Scientists or Consultants.
- Represent QIMA at conferences and external meetings to promote the company's expertise.
- Discuss scientific results with colleagues to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in scientific lab meetings and contribute to the organization of workshops to advance scientific knowledge.
- Propose innovative techniques to improve project outcomes.
- Maintain and troubleshoot assigned equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications:
- PhD in a relevant discipline.
- At least 2 years of post-doctoral experience.
- Strong background in applying immunological techniques.
- Proven expertise in FACS, RNASeq, Immunohistochemistry, cytokine array, or ELISA, or RT-qPCR.
- Publication of at least three peer-reviewed first-author papers in an international life sciences journal.
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English (QIMA's company language).
- Prior experience in skin and/or hair follicle research is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, as well as lead and motivate assigned personnel.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize work to meet tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements.
