Siemens Financial Services (SFS) enables clients worldwide to invest in sustainable technologies across sectors such as automation, digitalization, and sustainability through a variety of financing options. The Strategic Development Function (SD) is tasked with formulating the overarching SFS strategy. Within this function, the Investment & Transaction Advisory team manages the approval process for equity investments and divestitures within Siemens while offering advisory services and support for mergers and acquisitions, market entries, and the establishment of new SFS entities.
Your Role:
You will be an integral part of the Investment & Transaction Advisory Team at Siemens Financial Services, collaborating with various business units and functions.
- As a working student (f/m/d), you will assist our team at the Munich office in preparing Equity Investment Committees and strategic M&A transactions for the Financial Services Segment.
- You will actively contribute to the management of SFS's equity investment and divestment approval process, ensuring that the documentation meets the highest quality standards and that business risks are clearly and adequately communicated to senior management.
- You will help coordinate workstreams related to SFS strategic M&A transactions by engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct research on financial metrics, benchmarks, and competitors for the due diligence of target companies and market trends.
- Support the creation and refinement of presentations, calculations, and analyses in preparation for senior management meetings.

- Your entry point is a bachelor's degree, and you must be a full-time student at a German university specializing in business/economics with a concentration in (corporate) finance, banking, or international management.
- You are encouraged to enhance your initial practical experiences in Venture Capital/Private Equity, Banking, Corporate Finance, or Consulting with us.
- You demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, possess strong financial acumen, and are proficient in the MS Office suite (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel).
- You are fluent in both German and English.
