Your Future Team
The P&C Academy (Property & Casualty) operates within the "Global P/C" unit, a hub for Strategy and Execution at Allianz SE. Our goal is to deliver specialized training to the technical community across Allianz globally. This community includes underwriters, pricing analysts, portfolio managers, claims specialists, and loss control engineers. The P&C Academy offers three levels of accreditation and is recognized by the Chartered Insurance Institute in London, a premier private insurance training institution.
Your Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking an Intern/Working Student to assist with the following tasks:
- Aid the Senior Program Manager in organizing and executing P&C Academy training sessions, webinars, and e-learning modules.
- Coordinate operational activities with various organizational entities globally to support program delivery, including e-learning and in-person training.
- Prepare all necessary hardware and software for training sessions.
- Attend training programs when required to provide logistical support (up to one week at a time).
- Liaise with vendors for the procurement of training materials.
- Maintain and update the P&C Academy intranet page and e-learning resources, and assist in process simplification.
What We Are Looking For
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in a relevant field (e.g., business administration or similar).
- Proficient in English, as it is our primary business language; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous. A minimum of one year of experience in a corporate setting is required. This paid internship is ideal for individuals seeking experience in a corporate functional learning academy within a large, complex global organization.
- This position offers opportunities for learning and personal growth through mentorship from senior team members. Our interns benefit from a collegial atmosphere and a robust network of students at Allianz.
- Ideally, the internship should last a minimum of six months for full-time candidates or up to 12 months for part-time working students. Previous experience in business-related functions such as Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, or Digital/Tech is a plus.
Candidates should possess:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (experience with macro programming is a plus), PowerPoint, and web-based applications. A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and a strong academic approach are essential.
- Programming skills are advantageous.
- Familiarity with FIGMA is a plus.
- Enrollment in a university is a requirement for internship and working student positions.
- To be considered, candidates must provide a certificate of enrollment (or proof of a gap year) and a valid work and residence permit (for non-EU citizens).
