Senior Credit Risk Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join our Risk Management team in Düsseldorf. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting counterparty and exposure analysis, reviewing contracts, negotiating terms, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct credit risk assessments and provide recommendations to senior management on material investment decisions.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including originators, project managers, finance, legal, and external counterparties.
- Monitor and report on credit risk exposure using various tools and metrics.
- Identify and escalate any credit risk issues or concerns and propose and implement appropriate actions and solutions.
- Several years of relevant professional experience in the energy sector.
- Degree in mathematics, physics, econometrics, finance economics, or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and synthesize financial and non-financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good computer-based skills, proficient in Excel, and familiar with credit risk tools and methodologies.
