Job Title: Credit Risk Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Analyst to join our team in Düsseldorf. As a Credit Risk Analyst, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the credit risk execution and authorization process related to energy derivatives, renewables, and certificates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and validate the credit risk exposure evaluation of new products and transactions, ensuring consistency with credit risk policies and procedures.
  • Identify and document business requirements and specifications for credit risk related process and systems enhancements, collaborating with the IT team and Market Risk team to ensure timely delivery and testing.
  • Provide support and training to users of credit risk related process and systems, resolving any issues or queries that may arise.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation and reports related to the credit risk product approvals process, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with product approvals managers, credit risk analysts, and other business units to ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in credit risk analysis, preferably in the energy sector.
  • Strong understanding of validation of energy derivatives and renewables, and credit risk exposure evaluation methodologies, process, and regulation framework.
  • Proficient in credit risk related process and systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Excel, VBA, SQL, and other programming languages.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
