POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a key player in the MPP/Project cargo and Dry Cargo sectors, you will be responsible for Physical Freight Sales and Chartering.

We pride ourselves on delivering comprehensive solutions to our clients, ensuring efficient vessel chartering, seamless goods transportation, and proficient logistics management.
Key Responsibilities- Report directly to the leadership of Pacific MPP and Handysize and Supramax chartering divisions.
- Engage in the sale of physical freight and Dry Cargo shipping solutions.
- Support the implementation of commercial strategies, marketing initiatives, and business development efforts within the Pacific region and beyond.
- Build and maintain relationships with both existing and prospective clients, as well as brokers.
- Proactively devise solutions for clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Conduct business transactions with a commitment to transparency and integrity, safeguarding the company's financial interests and reputation.
- Coordinate and manage commercial transactions with internal stakeholders, including technical teams, port captains, operations, and legal departments.
- Assume financial responsibility for fixtures and voyage execution, negotiating favorable contract terms.
- Optimize voyage efficiency, monitor outcomes, and provide follow-up on operational and customer-related matters.
- Timely reporting of commercial challenges, disputes, and customer feedback to management.
- Contribute to the collection and dissemination of freight market intelligence across the global commercial team.
- As needed, assist and support colleagues in their commercial and chartering activities, including chartering in/out, voyage calculations, and report preparation.
- A seasoned commercial freight professional with proven sales and negotiation skills.
- Possesses 2-5 years of relevant experience in MPP/Project cargo or Dry Cargo Physical Freight and Chartering, acquired in trading firms, industrial sectors, broking, or ship ownership/operations.
- Strong understanding of Pacific dry bulk trades or MPP/Project cargo.
- A dynamic and ambitious team player with a successful track record in physical dry cargo trading and chartering.
- Capable of working independently and making informed commercial decisions within established parameters.
- Ability to foster strong relationships with clients, freight forwarders, brokers, and other key industry players, as well as internal teams.
- Excellent communication and analytical abilities, with proficiency in English being essential.
