About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ocean Chartering Specialist to join our team at DB Schenker. As a key member of our chartering team, you will be responsible for developing and growing relationships with targeted carriers, managing a carrier pool, and providing chartering services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow relationships with targeted carriers to meet DB Schenker's chartering needs.
- Manage a carrier pool to ensure optimal chartering services for our clients.
- Provide chartering services to our clients, including developing and implementing chartering strategies.
- Work closely with our Global Projects & Industry Solutions Team to ensure seamless chartering services.
- Collaborate with other chartering brokers to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience/qualification.
- More than 10 years of relevant business experience in project chartering, heavy lift.
- Commercial mind-set with a technical flair/understanding.
- Carrier and project cargo background.
- Solid networking abilities.
