Conexus DX Limited is a pioneering organization in the technology sector, seeking an experienced Senior Kubernetes Architect to lead the design and execution of scalable, modular, and secure service frameworks within a sophisticated Kubernetes ecosystem.
Role Overview:
In the capacity of Senior Kubernetes Architect, you will work in close collaboration with product managers, system architects, and various internal teams to establish and develop resilient service frameworks. Your responsibility will include converting high-level specifications into detailed, scalable designs, creating proofs of concept (POCs), and steering the engineering team through the implementation phase. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that the Kubernetes-based services are effective, secure, and aligned with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with product managers and architects to collect and clarify requirements, transforming them into well-structured service frameworks for PRM and SME within the service architecture.
- Design modular, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions based on these requirements, ensuring thorough documentation and maintenance throughout the product lifecycle.
- Develop POCs to assess the viability and functionality of your designs, integrating relevant system components and innovations.
- Support the engineering team by refining designs and incorporating insights gained from POCs, ensuring clarity and feasibility of designs.
- Assist the DevOps team with architecture and design-related inquiries during implementation, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed services, promoting collaboration within the Service Product Line and across teams.
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with Kubernetes security best practices and address any vulnerabilities.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in software and distributed system development with a proven ability to design and construct POCs efficiently.
- In-depth knowledge of CI/CD workflows, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and GitOps methodologies.
- Practical experience with at least one public cloud platform and Kubernetes administration, including upgrades and migrations in self-managed clusters.
- Expertise in Cloud-Native technologies, Kubernetes-related tools, and architectural patterns such as microservices, event sourcing, and load management.
- Experience with major Kubernetes platforms like Rancher, OpenShift, Tanzu, or MKE, including Kubernetes cluster provisioning via CAPI.
- Strong grasp of container technology and Kubernetes networking, along with experience in Service Mesh technologies.
- Exceptional documentation, communication, and troubleshooting skills, demonstrating a proactive and collaborative approach.
