Job Description

The Strategic Finance Advisor will be expected to:

  • Collaborate with various business units to provide strategic financial insights,
  • Oversee budgeting and forecasting activities,
  • Create financial models to support informed decision-making,
  • Generate regular reports for senior management, including analyses that connect financial outcomes to business strategies,
  • Conduct financial literacy training for team members,
  • Enhance the understanding and impact of financial reporting on overall business performance,
  • Review client accounts and projects to proactively identify financial risks and underperformance,
  • Perform due diligence for potential acquisitions and mergers,
  • Identify and communicate opportunities for financial improvement,
  • Build and maintain relationships across the organization.

Qualifications

Must-have skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant business or economic discipline,
  • Over 6 years of experience in a Finance Business Partner or Head of Finance role,
  • Professional qualifications, such as CPA, ACA, ACMA, or ACCA,
  • Experience in understanding and addressing business requirements,
  • Ability to make complex decisions and articulate them effectively,
  • Strong analytical skills with the capability to manage large volumes of data,
  • Proficiency in Excel,
  • Capacity to work independently and manage deliverables proactively,
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage with colleagues, teams, and senior management,
  • Strong negotiation, facilitation, and conflict-resolution abilities.

Nice-to-have skills:

  • Familiarity with financial software is advantageous.
