The Customer Project Execution (CPX) team is tasked with the installation, commissioning, and final handover of wind farms to our clients. Collaborating closely with customers and various stakeholders is essential to ensure these projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
The EPC & BOP division within CPX manages the bidding and construction processes for the Balance of Plant (BOP) associated with wind farms. Their duties encompass in-house basic engineering for the BOP, preparing Requests for Quotations for subcontractors, crafting technical and economic proposals for clients, and providing technical assistance during the construction phase.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Direct an international team of Project Managers, Specialists, and Engineers, offering guidance, coaching, and performance assessments.
- Strategic Direction: Establish strategic objectives for BOP construction that align with overarching project goals, collaborating with internal stakeholders such as Bid Management, Contract Management, and Procurement.
- BoP Infrastructure Management: Supervise BOP performance, compliance, and cost monitoring, working closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and effective resource allocation.
- Sales and Contract Support: Guarantee the delivery of BOP sales packages and negotiate contracts with suppliers, vendors, and clients in partnership with stakeholders.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout BOP construction, verifying compliance with project specifications.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with construction, such as delays or material shortages.
- Contingency Planning: Formulate contingency strategies to address unexpected challenges during BOP construction.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree in business or engineering is essential.
- The ideal candidate will possess extensive business and management experience, particularly in complex EPC project environments.
- Demonstrated experience in an international context is required.
- Proficient in managing intricate contracts.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
- Able to manage multiple tasks concurrently and lead complex, cross-functional teams effectively.
- Exhibits a high degree of professionalism with the capacity to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven track record in driving change management initiatives, fostering the adoption of new processes and industry best practices.
