Senior Business Coordinator: mRNA Technology Expert

About the Role

CureVac Corporate Services GmbH, a leading biopharmaceutical company in the field of mRNA technology, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Corporate Services department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of financial reports and statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare technical statements (accounting memos) and ensure compliance with IFRS accounting standards
  • Implement new or amended accounting standards and develop accounting guidelines and processes
  • Contribute to the preparation and audit of IFRS consolidated financial statements and other financial reports
  • Prepare IFRS-related SOX controls and act as an interface to auditors and other external parties
  • Develop and conduct in-house IFRS trainings
Requirements
  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent qualification
  • Several years of relevant experience in IFRS accounting/financial reporting, with experience in audits an asset
  • Sound knowledge of IFRS, certification in IFRS desired
  • Experience in global business environments, including international legal entities, a plus
  • High ethical standards and integrity to handle sensitive financial information
  • Strong business acumen and attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and process-oriented skills, with a strong hands-on approach
  • Strong communication skills and team orientation in a dynamic environment
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced MS Excel skills
  • Fluency in German and English
