AFC Audit Manager

Raisin GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Audit Manager to join its Group Internal Audit function. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in helping the Management protect the assets, reputation, and sustainability of the international organization.
The Group Internal Audit function provides independent, objective assurance and consulting services designed to add value and improve operations. You will help Raisin accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
Key Responsibilities- Audit Execution: Conduct audits as per the annual audit plan, with a focus on AML and other regulations combating financial crime and relevant standards and frameworks.
- Compliance and Risk Assessment: Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of controls, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Reporting and Recommendations: Prepare detailed reports on audit findings, recommend improvements, and monitor the implementation of audit recommendations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various internal stakeholders, including risk management, and compliance teams, to ensure alignment on governance and compliance issues.
- Audit Project Management: Manage and coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely and thorough execution of audit plans.
- Management Reporting: Prepare quarterly and annual reporting to Senior Management and presentations for relevant Committees.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in auditing, governance, risk, and compliance. You should have a minimum of 8 years of experience in the international financial services industry, with a focus on the Fintech sector.
Key qualifications include:
- Educational Background: Degree in Business Administration, Law, and Economics or related fields. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CMAS, CIA) are highly appreciated.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience in auditing, governance, risk, and compliance, ideally within the international financial services industry.
- Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of BaFin specific regulation (e.g., MaRisk) and EBA guidelines with a focus on anti-financial crime.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication abilities with experience in stakeholder management and the capacity to mediate between different interests effectively.
- Language Skills: Good English language skills. German and other European languages are a plus.
